Freezing sweet corn Recipe

12 ears of fresh sweet corn
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water to boil.
Add corn to hot water and bring to boil again.
Boil for about 5 minutes.
Put corn in an ice water to let cool some--turning over that both sides are cooled.
Put ears of corn on a cookie sheet to allow them to drain.

Cut corn off ears and put into a large pan.
Put a stick of butter on top and sugar.
Warm until the buttere is melted and the sugar dissolves--stirring frequently.
Don't over cook
Let cool.

Put in freezer bags (pint size works well)
Freeze to enjoy later
Add salt and pepper when serving.


If making more than 1 doz. Boiling water needs to be replaced after each doz.
