Ingredients: 1 box lasagna noodles
2 eggs
1 large container of ricotta cheese
1 lb Italian sausage (I use Bob Evans)
1 lb. very lean ground beef
2 jars pasta sauce
16 oz. Italian blend shredded cheese
16 oz. parmesan cheese
3 tbs, Italian seasoning mix
1 tbs minced garlic
1 small onion finely chopped
Preheat oven to 400

Directions:Brown both meats and chopped onion together. Drain well after fully cooking meat, (no pink) Add meat mixture to sauce and set aside. Combine ricotta cheese, eggs, garlic and seasoning mix. Spread thin layer of meat mixture in bottom baking dish. Add layer of lasagna noodles Spread layer of chesse mixture on noodles and then a layer of meat mixture. Sprinkle layer of each cheese mixture. Repeat layers until dish is full. Sprinkle all leftover cheese on the top.
Cover with foil cover for 30 mins. Remove foil cover and cook another 15 mins. Don't let it get dry.
Bake 350 degrees for approx 45 mins. Check to make sure top of cheese is not burning. |
