Goze's Blueberry Buckle Recipe

¾ c. sugar
¼ c. vegetable oil
½ c. milk
1½ c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. ground cloves
½ tsp. ground nutmeg
1 pint fresh blueberries OR
1 pkg. frozen dry packed blueberries

TOPPING:
½ c. sugar
⅓ c. flour
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ c. softened butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Mix sugar, oil, eggs, and milk until well blended. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cloves. Fold in blueberries and spread into a greased 9 inch square pan.
Combine topping ingredients using a pastry cutter or fork (should be crumbly).
Sprinkle crumbs over batter. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched. Serve warm cut into squares.
