1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
4 - 6 medium potatoes
1 Tbsp. of butter
1 can creamed corn
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Peel the potatoes, cut into fourths and boil them in a pot on the stove. When the potatoes are done (a fork goes in cleanly), remove from heat and drain the water.
When the potatoes have cooled a little, mash them with a little butter and milk, salt and pepper. Set aside.
In a skillet on the stove, sauté the ground beef with the onion and garlic. Stir to break up the chunks of ground beef.
Drain the excess fat.
Preheat the oven to 350º.
Pour the meat mixture into a casserole dish.
Scoop the mashed potatoes on top of the meat mixture, covering it completely.
Pour the can of creamed corn over the potatoes on top.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover the casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes.
