3 eggs
2 cups sugar
¾ cup butter
1 tsp. almond extract
2 cups flour
2½ cups fresh cranberries
⅔ cup pecans

Hot Butter Sauce
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
¾ cup whipping cream
Heat to almost boiling Serve on cake.

In a mixing bowl beat eggs with sugar until slightly thickened and light in color, about five minutes. Add butter and extract and beat two minutes. Stir in flour just until combined. Stir in the cranberries and pecans. Spread in a greased 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve with hot butter sauce. The sauce makes the cake!
