1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Mix 2 T sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. Roll balls in sugar mixture and place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Remove immediately from baking sheet.
