12 oz bittersweet chocolate.
4 oz butter
3 eggs - room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup chocolate chunks
powdered sugar for dusting

Melt butter and 12 oz chocolate in a double boiler. Stir until smooth, set aside.
Beat eggs, sugar and banilla until thick and creamy. Add cooling chocolate, beat until combined. Set aside. Whisk together flour, salt, cinnamon, powder, cayenne and cocoa. Gradually add to creamed mixture using a spatula. just until combined, coer and chill 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350º. Lscoop dough onto sheet line a baking sheet with parchment. Using a small to medium cookie scoop, place cookies 2" apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Edges with look set but middle should still be a little wet. Don't over bake. Leave on sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Dust with confectionary sugar.

***Adding mini marshmallow will make them more like hot cocoa.
