1 package of Lipton onion soup mix
1 ½ lbs round steak
1 cup dry red wine
3 Tbsp butter
1 cup sour cream
Wide egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the round steak into thin strips and brown in the butter in a large frying pan.

Stir in the wine and onion soup mix. Cover an simmer for 1 ½ hours, or until the meat is tender.

Stir in the sour cream.

Serve over the noodles.

Optionally - could add 1 can of mushrooms with the juice. If adding the mushrooms, reduce the amount of wine by ½ cup. That's if you really want to put the mushrooms in (I don't).

This was adapted from Sandy's mom's recipe (she put in the mushrooms) and it is one of my go to meals. It's easy to prepare, tastes fantastic and the leftovers heat up well also.
