50 light caramel chips
1/2 C. evaporated milk

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 C. melted butter
1/3 C. evaporated milk
1 C. chopped walnuts
1 C. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. In heavy saucepan or double-boiler, melt 50 light caramels and 1/2 C. evaporated milk. Set aside.
2. Mix together cake mix, butter, evaporated milk, and walnuts.
3. Oil and flour a 13x9 baking pan.
4. Press 1/2 of cake mixture into bottom of pan.
5. Bake at 350 for 6 minutes
6. Take out of oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and caramel mixture over the cake. Pour remaining cake mixture over top.
7. Bake at 350 for 15-18 more minutes.
8. Refrigerate for 20 minutes and cut.
