Cook yellow beans in salt water under tender, being careful they do not cook too much. Pack in (about 3 quarts) and pour the following hot syrup over and seal.
¾ cup vinegar
¾ cup water
1¾ sugar
Mixed spices

Directions:
As a child, I grew up loving creamed yellow beans and these pickles. I had to teach my husband to love yellow beans and now they are a favorite. Many times my after school snack was creamed yellow beans on toast.

I made many jars of bean pickles in the 1970's. We just love them! I truly miss my huge garden on the farm!
