2 egg whites beaten stiff
8 T margarine
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add a small amount of sugar to these so they stay stiff until ready for use.

Cream margarine, add salt and remaining sugar gradually. Add egg yolks and beat until creamy. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add alternately to the creamed mixture with milk. Fold in the egg whites, sugar and vanilla. Fold in berries that have been lightly floured. Turn into buttered 8 x 8 pan. Sprinkle with sugar before baking. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes.
