1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1 egg
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Reserve 2/3 c. of the dry cake mix for filling. Into the remaining, mix margarine and 1 egg until crumbly. Press into a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Combine reserved cake mix, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and 3 eggs. Beat at high speed 1-2 minutes. Pour filling over partially-baked crust. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Return to oven and continue to bake 30-35 minutes longer, until filling is set. Cool. Cut into 36 bars.
