1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp soda
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
48 candy kisses
Directions:
Directions:
Add all the wet ingredients and beat until smooth them add dry ingredients but not the kisses yet. Blend until soft dough. Shape into 1 inch balls.Roll in extra sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Immediately top each cookie with a candy kiss, press firmly down so that the cookie cracks around edges, remove for cookie sheet.
