Pineapple Upside Down Cake Recipe

4 eggs
3 T. cold water
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. vanilla
1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar

1 large can pineapple slices
6-7 marishino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together 4 egg yolks and 3 T. cold water about 3 minutes
Add sugar gradually and continue to beat.
Add flour,baking powder and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.

Fold in 4 beaten egg white (stiff)

Bottom: (Brown Sugar Mix)
Cook 1/4 butter and brown sugar together for about 1 minute.

Using a 9 x 12 pan.
Pour cooked brown sugar mix into pan.
Arrange pineapple slices (drained) over brown sugar and put a cherry into the middle of each pineapple slice.
Pour cake batter over this.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
When cool or when serving, turn slices upside down so the pineapples are on the top.

Serve with whipped cream.
