Ingredients:  
1 thinly sliced sweet onion
2 tbls butter
2 cans (14 1/2 ounces each) beef broth
1/2 cup water
2 tbls dry red wine
1/2 tsp Worschester sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
French bread, Toasted
1/4 cup grated parmesan (use Gruyere)
1/2 sprigs parsley
1/2 bay leaf


Directions:
Directions:
In stockpot saute onions in butter until soft and golden, about 15 minutes.

Add Beef broth, water, wine, Worschester, salt, paprika, pepper, bay leaf, and parsley.

Bring to a boil, then simmer about 1 hour

Remove bay leaf and parsley.

Pour into oven safe bowls, top with Toasted bread which have been sprinkled with cheese.

Set in 450° oven for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and melted
