Ingredients: 8 oz bowtie or pasta of choice 4 cups chopped broccoli 2 Tbsp butter 1 clove garlic 1 lb chicken breast, chopped into bite-sized pieces 2 ½ tsp cajun seasoning 4 oz plain cream cheese 2 Tbsp grated parm cheese 1 cup milk of choice ½ tsp salt ½ tsp fresh ground black pepper

Directions:Cook pasta according to package directions, but add broccoli to the pot 1-2 minutes before noodles are done. Drain set aside.
In a large pot or skillet, melt 2 Tbsp butter over medium heat. Add garlic clove. Cook for about 2 minutes. Add chicken pieces and season with Cajun seasoning. Cook for 2-4 minutes. Add cream cheese, stirring well until melted and smooth; 2-3 minutes.
Gradually add 1 cup of milk and stir until it’s fully incorporated into the sauce. Stir in the parmesan cheese, salt and pepper until cheese is melted and sauce is the desired consistency.
Add broccoli and cooked pasta and stir to combine. |

Notes: I've never considered myself a "good" cook, so the first time Adam and I had Chris and Sandy over and I was in charge of the menu, I was a little nervous. Since Adam requested this recipe multiple times in the past, I figured it was a safe bet. Yada, yada, yada...everyone still trusts me to cook for them! I think?
