4 - 5 pounds of Pork Shoulder (deboned)
1 TBSP salt
1 tsp pepper
1 TBSP dried oregano
1 TBSP ground cumin
1 large white onion
1 large shallot
8 cloves of garlic mashed (I buy premashed)
2 limes juiced
3/4 cup of original coke or alternatively 3/4 cup of chicken broth
3/4 cup of orange juice

Directions:

Rinse pork and pat dry with a paper towel.
Add salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, white onion & shallot (diced), garlic, lime, OJ and chicken broth (coke). Cover everything evenly so that all of the flavors can spread throughout the meat.

Cover with aluminum foil and cook in slow cooker for 10 hours on LOW.

Remove pork and shred with 2 forks.

****KEEP THE LIQUID IN THE SLOW COOKER****

Lightly spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spread the pork evenly to cover the sheet.
Pour 1 cup of the slow cooker liquid over the meat for extra flavor.

Broil for 5-10 minutes on high heat until the meat becomes golden browned and crispy on the edges
before serving add an optional tsp of salt and pepper. prefer to keep the onions on the meat when crisping in the oven.
