3/4 cup shortening (part butter and Crisco)
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour, baking powder and salt. Chill 1 hr. Roll dough 1/8 in thick on lightly floured board. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes. Cool and have fun icing!
