1 c. sugar
⅓ c. flour
¼ tsp. salt
2 c.milk
2 egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla
1 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar, flour and salt. Add small amount of milk, enough to blend. Add egg yolks and beat. Add remaining milk. Cook until thick. Cool. Add butter and vanilla.

Chocolate - add 4T cocoa
Butterscotch- use brown sugar instead of white sugar

Make meringue out of 2 egg whites left from pudding. eat egg whites until fluffy. Add 2 T sugar and ¼ tsp. cream of tart. Pour pudding into pie shell. Top with meringue. Bake until brown. You can also top with small marshmallows and brown in oven.
