1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Strawberry jam
Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening until smooth, add in sugars. Add in eggs. Mix in dry ingredients. Make into balls and place on cookie sheet. Press center of each ball with thumb to create indent. Fill with strawberry jam. Bake at 350º F for 10 minutes.
