3/4 c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c chopped pecans
1 c coconut (not packed)
1 c maraschino cherries drained and chopped
Corn Flake crumbs
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture. Stir in pecans, coconut, and cherries. Drop by tsps into corn flake crumbs. Toss lightly to coat. Place on cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
