3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
6 thin slices corned beef (1oz.) chopped
3 tbls. Thousand Island Dressing
2 tbls. finel chopped sauerkraut
12 slices cocktail rye or pumpernickel bread
12 tiny dill pickles

Directions:

1. Mix cheese, corned beef, dressing and sauerkraut. Spread over each slice of bread,
2. Set oven control to broil. Place topped bread on rack in broiler pan or ungreased cookie sheet..
3. Broil with tops 4-5 inches from heat 2-3 min. or until golden brown. Top each with a pickle.

I also have put the above ingredients: cheese chopped sauerkraut and corned beef in a small crock pot and heated until cheese has melted and then served on the coctail bread with the thousand island dressing on the side. Either way you prepare it, it is yummy good.
