8 T extra virgin olive oil
1 c fresh basil leaves
1 oz pine nuts
1/2 tsp sea salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Blanch fresh basil to retain its bright green color by adding 1 cup of water to a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Prepare a small bowl filled with ice water.
2. Plunge basil into boiling water and remove as soon as it turns bright green then plunge into ice water. Remove and set aside.
3. Add pine nuts, olive oil, salt, and basil to a food processor. Process until smooth.
