2 eggs
3/4 C sugar
1/3 C flour
1/3 t salt
1/4 t baking powder
2 1/3 C cocoanut
1 T butter, melted and cooled
For the Chocolate Cookies
2 oz german baking chocolate,
melted and cooled
1/4 t cinnamon
For Vanilla Cookies
1/4 t lemon rind

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg until foamy, addsugar beating constantly until
thickened and light in color - 5 minutes with electric
mixer.
Fold in flour, salt, and baking powder. Then add butter,
vanilla, cocoanut. Divide batter in half. Blend chocolate
and cinnamon in one half and lemon rind into the other.
Drop by teaspoon on greased and floured baking sheet.
Decorate with a Marachino cherry.
Bake at 325 for 15 minutes or brown around the edges.
