Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

1 c peanut butter
6 tbsp butter, 3/4 stick
1 1/4 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1- 11 1/2 oz pkg (2 c) milk chocolate morsels, divided

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*
In large mixer bowl, beat peanut butter and butter till smooth, about 1 minute.
Add sugar, eggs and vanilla, beat till creamy. Blend in flour and salt.

Stir in 1 c of morsels. Spread into a 13 X 9 in pan.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Take out of oven.
Immediately sprinkle remaining morsels over top of cookie layer.
Let stand 5 minutes. Spread melted chocolate over top of cookie layer.

Cool completely.

Cut into 1 1/2 inch bars.
