3 lb baby carrots, cleaned
6 T butter
2 cloves garlic, halved
6 T maple syrup
¼ t salt and pepper
2 T minced fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
In saucepan, in boiling salted water, cook carrots 6 to 10 minutes until tender. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic, sauté for 2 minutes. Remove garlic and add maple syrup. Whisk to blend. Drain carrots and add to syrup and butter. Salt and pepper carrots. Sauté 15 minutes or until carrots are browned. Place in serving bowl. Dust with parsley.
