1 c. shortening
1½ c. sugar
2 eggs
2¾ c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
Cinnamon & Sugar mix:
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Cream shortening and sugar continue mixing and add eggs one a time. Sift together dry ingredients and mix into wet mixture. Roll into 1 inch balls and then roll into cinnamon and sugar mixture. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until lightly browned, approximately 8-10 minutes.
