2 large green peppers
3/4 lb ground beef, pork or lamb
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 7 1/2 ounce can tomatoes, cut up
1/3 cup rice
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp dried basil or oregano
1/2 cup shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Halve peppers lengthwise, removing ends, seed, and membrances. Immerse peppers into boiling water for 3 minutes. Sprinkle insides with salt and drain on paper towels.

Cook meat and onion in skillet until cooked. Drain fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, uncooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning and 1/2 cup water, salt, and pepper. Bring to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15-18 minutes. Stir in 1/4 cup cheese. Fill peppers with meat mixture. Place in 8/8/2 baking dish. Bake 375 oven about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and serve.
