5 tp 6 lb beef brisket
Worcestershire Sauce
Season Salt
Garlic Salt

Sauce:
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 T lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle brisket generously with seasonings and bake 30 min. at 425 degrees

.Wrap brisket in foil, seal and bake 7-8 hours at 225 degrees OR cook on low in crockpot 8-10 hours.
chill brisket. Remove juice, defat and add water to make 2 cups to use in making sauce.

Sauce: combine all sauce ingredients including meat juices and chill.

to serve: slice brisket, put in covered casserole dish and pour sauce over and heat.


Note: this recipe is great to start the night before by cooking brisket in crock pot, chill during the day and then heating before serving.
