1 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 c light brown sugar packed
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 c rolled oats
1 c flaked coconut
1 c rice krispies
1 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped toasted pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening at medium speed of mixer until fluffy. Then add sugars beating well. Add eggs, beating until blended. Combine flour and next four ingredients, gradually adding to sugar mixture, beating after each addition. Stir in coconut, cereal, vanilla and pecans. Drop by tablespoons on to parchment paper lined baking sheets. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on wire rack.
