2 medium size ripe avocados
2 Tbs canned green chilies, chopped
1 Tbs onion, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup sour cream
2 Tbs lime juice
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Liquid red-pepper seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Cut avocados in half. Remove pits. Peel. Mash avocados in a bowl until smooth. Stir in green chilies, onion, garlic, sour cream, lime juice, salt and red-pepper seasoning. Cover; chill.

This recipe does not turn dark for several days and it is our favorite. I discovered this while we lived on Pinellas Street in East Lake and David did his medical residence and I taught first grade in Vestavia Hills.
