cup butter flavor Crisco shortening
1 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups Quaker oats (old fashioned, uncooked)
1 cup all-purpose flour
tsp baking soda
tsp salt
tsp cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 cup coarsely walnuts

Directions:

Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes
Lightly grease baking sheet with butter flavored Crisco shortening Combine butter flavored Crisco brown sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl beat at medium speed until well blended - combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a separate bowl Mix dry ingredients into creamed mixture at low speed just until blended stir in raisins and nuts drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto a baking sheet - Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown cool 2 minutes on a cooling rack.
Makes 2 dozen cookies
