2 cups white rice
1 medium onion, diced
6 TB salted butter, melted
2 TB all purpose flour
5 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4 to 6 whole chicken thighs
2 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease 1 13x9 baking pan

In 13x9 pan, Stir rice, onion,3 TB melted butter & flour together until no white specks are visible. Spread mixture out evenly. Pour broth, cream, salt & pepper in & stir to combine

Place thighs on top of mixture. Brush chicken with remaining butter the season with italian seasoning, garlic powder, & paprika

Cover with aluminum foil & bake for 1 hour.

Remove foil & continue to bake for 30 minutes more until skin on chicken is crispy. Serve immediately
