8 oz mushrooms, washed and stems removed (16)
16 oz lean steak, cut into half inch cubes (16)
2 T steak marinade such as Dale's
1 t garlic powder
1 T 100% grated parmesan cheese from the can

Directions:
Directions:
Put 16 toothpicks in a cup of water to soak for at least 15 minutes.
Wash and cap the mushrooms; place them in a quart resealable bag with the steak cubes (you will need the same number of mushrooms and steak).
Add the marinade, seal, and shake. Let this rest about 15 to 30 minutes.
Remove from the bag (discard the marinade) and insert a toothpick thru a steak cube and mushroom.
Place them on a foil lined tray; sprinkle on the parmesan & garlic powder.
Preheat your oven broiler; once hot, place the tray in broiler for about 4 minutes.
Remove and serve with cocktail napkins.

Art Aside: My good friend Pete first came up with this recipe but years later he forgot how he made it!
