4-5 crisp apples
3 c boiling water
½-¾ c sugar
2 bags red hot candies

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and cut in round slices. Remove the core carefully. Put in pan with boiling water, sugar and candies. Cook until apples are done but not over done. Let cool and refrigerate. May need to add more water! Will turn a pretty red as they sit.
