2 c. flour
2 T. sugar
3 T. baking powder
½ t. salt
½ c. butter
1 egg, beaten
⅔ c. light cream

3 - 4 c. strawberries, sliced and sugared
1 c. whipping cream, whipped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients; cut in butter until mixture is like coarse crumbs. In a separate bowl, combine egg and light cream; add to dry ingredients, stirring only until moistened. Turn dough onto floured surface. Knead gently ½ minute. Roll to ½” thick. Cut 6 biscuits with floured 2½" biscuit cutter.

Bake on greased cookie sheet at 400º for 15 minutes.

Cool slightly; slice each in half horizontally and lightly butter halves. Spoon strawberries on bottom half and put top half on top of the strawberries. Spoon strawberries over the top and serve with whipped cream.
