Country Fried Steak Recipe

Steak (either beef or venison)

cooking oil

about 1/2 cup chopped onions


salt and Pepper

Heat oil in frying pan to 375║.

Season steak with salt and pepper and roll in the flour.

Place steak in hot oil and brown on all sides and drain.

Place steak in a crock pot.

Drain the oil from the frying pan leaving about 2 tbsp. Place the chopped onion into the pan drippings and sautÚ add about 2 tbsp. flour. Be sure to stir the flour until it browns.

Pour the onion mixture into the crock pot and add 1 can goldon brown mushroom soup and enough water to cover.

Slow cook for 6 hrs. or cook on high for about 4 hrs.

Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
