6 lemons
1 c sugar
3 tbsp corn starch
2 c milk
3 egg yolks
1 tbsp lemon flavor
baked pie shell


Marring:
3 eggs
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Juice 6 lemons, grate about 1 tbsp zest and set aside. Cook sugar, milk and cornstarch until thick, stir continuously. After mixture begins to thicken add a little of the mixture to your eggs. Then add the eggs back to the hot mixture. Cook until mixture is thick. Then take off heat, add lemon juice, zest and flavoring.

Marring:
Beat egg whites until stiff, add cream of tartar and sugar. Beat until they hold stiff peaks.

Put the first mixture into a baked pie shell, top with marring and brown in the oven.
