5-10 strips bacon
5 sticks celery
1 stick (˝ cup) butter
1 onion
1 package herb seasoned bread cubes

Directions:

Fry bacon. Remove and add chopped celery and onion to pan with bacon drippings, sauté.
Meanwhile, chop/crumble bacon
Place bread cubes in large bowl
When celery and onion are soft, add bacon back. Add butter to melt
Let mixture cool a few minutes then add to bread cubes and toss
Add 1˝ cups warm water
Allow to cool and stuff your bird. Do not over stuff, as stuffing will expand

Not sure how many generations this goes back, but it is an old family recipe. My Grandma Ferguson made it, she passed it on to my mother, who passed it on to me. I passed it on to your mother, so you must continue the tradition! I always get compliments on it. You can also heat up any that won't fit inside the bird.
