1 lb. ground beef
1C diced onion
1C sliced celery
1C sliced carrots
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 can kidney beans, undrained
2 C water
5 tsp. beef bouillon granules
1 T parsley flakes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 C shredded cabbage
1 C frozen cut green beans
1/2 C elbow macaroni, uncooked
parmesan cheese

Brown beef in large heavy pot, drain. Add all ingredients except cabbage, green beans and macaroni. Bring to boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer 20 min. Add cabbage, green beans and macaroni, bring to boil and simmer until veggies are tender. If you prefer a thinner soup, add additional water or beef broth. Sprinkle with parm cheese before serving.
