1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
egg white, beaten
1 T water


Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten egg and dry ingredients.
Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill a few hours or overnight.

Roll dough out ⅛ inch thick and cut out with cutters.
Put cookies on pan lined with parchment or greased
Brush the tops with the beaten egg white/water mixture.
Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Add a pecan. (optional)
