1/2 c. butter, cubed
2 carrots, finely chopped
2 ribs celery, finely chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. flour
4 c. chicken broth
1 packet Herb-OX chicken seasoning (optional)
2 c. cooked wild rice
2 c. cubed cooked turkey or chicken
2 c. half and half cream
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter in large pan over medium heat. Add carrots, celery and onion. Cook and stir until vegetables are tender. Stir in flour until blended. Gradually stir in chicken broth. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened a little. Stir in remaining ingredients and return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
