1 lb hamburger
1 clove garlic minced
1 tablespoon basil
1½ teaspoon salt
1 1lb can tomatoes
2 6 ounce cans tomato paste

10 ounces lasagne or wide noodles
3 cups cottage cheese
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 lb mozzarella cheese sliced very thin

Directions:

Brown meat slowly drain off fat. Add the next 5 ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles in a large amount of salted water till tender, drain and rinse.
Combine remaining ingredients except for mozzarella cheese. Spread a very thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 13X9 baking dish. Place half the noodles in
the dish, on top of the thin layer of meat sauce. Then spread half the cottage cheese filling. Add half of the mozzarella cheese and half the meat mixture. Repeat the layers.
Bake at 370º for about 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting into
squares. The filling will set slightly.
