2 tbsp Vegetable oil
1 Med Onion, thinly sliced
Pinch salt and pepper

½ cup Mayonnaise
½ tbsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp Minced garlic

7 oz Sirloin steak, ½” thick
2 slices Swiss Cheese
2 slices French bread, toasted
Pinch salt & pepper

Prepared onion jus,

Directions:
Heat oil in skillet, add onions and cook over low heat, stirring often, until onions are caramelized. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and hold for serving.

Garlic Aioli: In a bowl, mix mayo, mustard, and garlic until thoroughly blended; cover and refrigerate.

Season sirloin with salt and pepper and grill or broil until slightly pink in middle. Toast one side of French bread under broiler or on grill. Spread each toasted side with Garlic Aioli. Place steak on toasted side of one of bread slices, top with ¼ cup caramelized onions, place second read slice on top of onions, toasted side down, cover top of bread with 2 slices of Swiss Cheese. Place under broiler until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with onion au jus*

*Prepare from package of onion soup mix and strain. Place in small cup on plate.
