Apple Cobbler

1 pastry for 9” pie crust
1 cup Sugar
2 tbsp Flour
½ tsp Cinnamon
6 cups Apples, sliced, peeled
¼ tsp Nutmeg
⅛ tsp Ginger
⅓ cup Cream



Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375º. Roll out the pastry to fit an 8 or 9-inch square pan. Put in in the bottom of the pan.
Mix the filling ingredients together, tossing lightly to coat all the apples.. Put into the unbaked crust.
 

Topping

1 cup Rolled Oats
⅓ cup Flour
½ cup Brown sugar
½ tsp Cinnamon
¼ tsp Salt
⅓ cup Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Rub the topping ingredients together with fingers until a coarse meal texture is obtained. Sprinkle over filling. Bake for an hour. Serve warm with whipped cream, ice cream, or a topping of your choice.
