Dressing:
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
3 TB plain yogurt
2 TB sugar
2 tsp grated fresh lemon peel

Salad:
2 large Granny Smith apples, cut into bite-size pieces (about 4+1/2 cups)
2 large Gala apples, cut into bite-size pieces (about 3+1/2 cups)
1 TB fresh lemon juice
6 medium stalks of celery with leaves
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix all dressing ingredients until blended, then refrigerate until ready to serve

In a large bowl, place apples then sprinkle lemon juice on top & toss.

Remove celery leaves & chop into half inch pieces (about 1/2 cup)
Cut celery stalks diagonally into 1/4 " (or less, if desired) slices to measure about 2 cups. add to apples, then refrigerate until serving time

Spread nuts on cookie sheet & put into oven to toast. Watch carefully, they burn quickly!! Let cool.

Just before serving, toss apples & celery, then toss with with dressing until coated. Sprinkle walnuts on top & serve immediately
