1 pkg Frozen Mixed vegetables-10 oz
⅓ cup Butter
⅓ cup Flour
⅓ cup Onion, chopped
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
1¾ cup Chicken Broth
⅔ cup Milk
10 oz Cooked chicken or turkey

Preheat oven to 425º.. If using fresh vegetables cook until crisp tender in a skillet. Heat butter in sauce pan over low heat until melted. Stir in flour, onion, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat, stir in broth and milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Stir in chicken or turkey and vegetables.

1½ cup Flour
1 tsp Salt
½ cup Shortening
6 tbsp Cold water

Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in shortening. Gradually add cold water, mixing until flour is moistened. Shape dough out on a lightly floured surface. Put crust into ungreased 9x9 pan. Pour chicken mixture into pastry-lined pan. Roll remaining pastry into 10 inch square. Place over filling and cut slits in. Turn edges under and flute. Bake until golden brown, about 40 minutes.
