1 stick Butter, melted
2 cups Granulated sugar, divided
1 cup All purpose flour
1 Tbsp Baking powder
1 cup Milk
4 Ripe peaches, pitted, thinly sliced
1 Tblsp Fresh Lemon Juice
½ tsp Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Put butter in a 2-quart baking dish and put in oven until butter is melted. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of sugar, flour, and baking powder; Stir in the milk until blended. Pour the batter over the melted butter. Mix together the peaches with the remaining 1 cup of sugar and Lemon Juice; cook over high heat until boiling. Pour the peach slices over the batter; don't stir. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes,or until golden brown. Serve warm with a little heavy cream, whipped topping, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
