1 ⅔ cup all purpose flour
¾ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup softened butter
⅓ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups nestle toll house milk chocolate morsels
1 cup flaked coconut
¾ cup macadamia nuts or walnuts, chopped

Directions:

Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.

Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl and mix until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chip morsels, coconut, and nuts.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in oven at 375º F for 8-11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Let stand for 2 minutes before moving from cookie sheet.
