1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash browns
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (12 oz.) carton sour cream
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
2 c. crushed cornflakes
Paprika

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, stir the has browns, butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese together. Pour the mixture ito a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan (or 2 small size casseroles.) Top with cornflake crumbs and sprinkle with paprika for added color. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Good with an egg casserole for breakfast or with any meat.
